Courses in HEARTspace
MSC
A moment of self-compassion can change your entire day.
A string of such moments can change the course of your life.
Christopher Germer
Mindful Self-Compassion has been developed by Christopher Germer, Boston, and Kristin Neff, Austin.
Since 2010 numerous students from literally all around the globe attended their courses. Validation and neuroscience can show its efficiency. The three components of Self-Compassion are accordingly to Kristin Neff: Common Humanity – Self Kindness – Mindfulness.
Very often Self-Compassion is mistaken for self-pitying. Instead, it is the very opposite! It is acknowledging feelings of pain, sadness or vulnerability inside ourselves. As we tend naturally to a suffering friend we learn in this program how to befriend ourselves. Instead of listening to our inner enemies, critics and devaluating voices – step by step we explore how we can become inner allies, how to love and care for ourselves whenever we feel the need for compassionate support.
This program is suitable for everybody. And it is suitable for those in “helping, curing” professions like doctors, nurses, or kindergarten teachers. MSC is also a proven burn-out preventer.
8 week-program, 8 x 2,5 hours per week, and a half day retreat.
Please contact me when I caught your interest by sending an email to [email protected] or texting/calling to 0176 – 6190 8025.
You can book a course for yourself or a group of people, or the professional group you are working with. I am pleased to arrange a schedule for you and/ or a group that matches your needs.

MindfulMeditation
MindfulMeditation is like a woven texture. Mindfulness and experiencing meditation, becoming mindful and meditate are like the two threads of chain and weft in weaving.
Lately “Mindfulness” is almost considered as a miraculous tool one may use to manage a stressful life and to optimise oneself.
Of course, one might experience changes, even transformation in one’s life with MindfulMeditation. Yet, these are gifts due to a gradual process of understanding the complexity of what the term mindfulness covers: cultivating mindful attitudes and becoming mindful in every moment of one’s life.
In this program we will concentrate on attention – intention, awareness, mindfulness of body – emotions – thoughts. We will get to know about meditation and different forms & goals of meditation. Findings in neuroscience on the brain and its capacity of neuroplasticity will substantiate the saying “our efforts to cultivate mindfulness will generate seeds of mindfulness that might flourish as much as we nurture them” (Rick Hanson).
The program has two parts, which can be booked separately. Both consist of 6 sessions, each 2 hours:
In part 1 we engage in the so called “pleasant and neutral” experiences of our body sensations, emotions, thoughts. Which impacts have these experiences on our inner&outer resonance when becoming aware of them? How can we cultivate caring and loving towards ourselves and others? Can meditation strengthen us? Some forms of Meditation will be introduced: f.e. Metta-Meditation.
In part 2 we engage more in the so called “unpleasant” experiences like body pain, emotional pain, suffering, loss – dying – grieving which require compassion. We learn how to distinguish between “empathy” and “compassion”. By exploring ourselves and our responses to difficult, unpleasant situations we get into contact with our deeply rooted needs as well with our - surprisingly enough – “essential goodness, our natural wisdom and compassion” (Tara Brach)
Curiously and courageously listening to this innate wisdom we even might touch a spiritual dimension.
We enter the HEART of life, essence itself.
To listen is to lean in
Softly
With a willingness to be changed
By what we hear.
